![]() ![]() Most play into the new mechanics that have also been introduced. Tears of the Kingdom has brought with it many new entries into the Hyrule Compendium, many of which are monsters. They're fun to engage, and now they have new variations! They make their return in Tears of the Kingdom as ferocious fighters with incredible agility. Lizalfos are a classic entry in the roster of every Legend of Zelda game. ![]() Hinox have made a return in Tears of the Kingdom, but they've accessorized! Now, they wear necklaces that Link can pull weapons from while fighting them. The mysterious and mischevious Wizzrobe is a returning elemental magician often found prancing about through the air, and can channel the elements to alter the very climate around them or send bolts hurtling your way. The Pebblit is a returning Mini-Talus that can spring up among rocks to fight back, and though relatively weak, they are impervious from many damage sources and can send you flying! Luckily, a well placed arrow can pop them, or you can get creative and Recall their rock back into their face! The Octorock is a devious and sneaky enemies that often hide themselves in various spots depending on the region, erupting from cover to shoot fast-moving projectiles at Link's back. ![]() Large swarms can even be seen flying out of caves that can prove formidable, as do their various elemental versions The annoying one-eyed bats of Hyrule, the Keese return in Tears of the Kingdom, and can swarm Link at night to pester him from above. The jelly they leave behind can be altered into different elemental types. These adorable little blobs have returned to trouble Hyrule again with their goopy wrath! Chuchu are goofy little critters, but their elemental variations have returned to push players into getting creative with their attacks. ![]() Here's a sampling of the creatures you can expect to see roaming Hyrule once again. Most look and act very similar to how they did in Breath of the Wild, but there are a few that have evolved somewhat. There are many enemy types that have made their return to Hyrule in Tears of the Kingdom. ![]()
